Our MissionTo bring people and technology together in a friendly low pressure environment To give individuals the opportunity to give back to their community, through volunteer opportunities, including teaching, learning and the open exchange of information To provide a safe place for children and adults to learn side by side, utilizing today's technology to develop tomorrows leaders. Additionally our curriculum is designed around the open source solution, making it possible for us to supply COMPLETE 5, 10 or 20 station networked computer labs at a FRACTION of the cost of a BRANDED solution. More importantly, due to the nature of open source, our graduates actually are awarded a PC on a STICK! IMAGINE your students being able to customize THEIR computing experience completely. Their own color scheme, their own email and IM favorites as well as a complete Office suite, all on a device smaller than a ball point pen! Most exciting of all, they get to take these home with them once the course is complete and anywhere they find a PC that boots from the USB port (as most contemporary devices do) they can have their complete desktop right there in front of them! NEW FOR 2011! Do you know someone in the missions field who may be able to benefit from a free PC and an operators class?
